Nshan Melkonian is a visual artist and student attending the California State University of Channel Islands, where he will graduate with a B.A. in art history and a minor in arts management. He has worked as a curator and gallery assistant both regionally and internationally with exhibits such as the De La Ville Au Jardin at the Passage A L’Art gallerie in Southern France, and the 507 Creative Festival in Calabasas, CA. He served as a gallery assistant and educator at Studio Channel Islands and currently works at the California Museum of Art as a gallery administrator.

In his practice he has exhibited in galleries and independent group shows, including self-published zines in San Francisco, Joshua Tree, L.A., and across the county. In his free time he actively participates in art organizations like the Hammer museum, where he volunteers with art and community related events each year.
