Nshan Melkonian

Board Member

Nshan Melkonian is a visual artist and student attending the California State University of Channel Islands, where he will graduate with a B.A. in Art History and a minor in arts management. He has traveled internationally to work as a gallery assistant on two associated galleries in the southern region of France, working on the De La Ville Au Jardin III eco-art gallery exhibition and in the city gallery Passage A L’Art Millau. Mr. Melkonian co-curated a pop-up gallery exhibition as part of the 507 Creative Festival in Calabasas. He currently works at Studio Channel Islands Black Board gallery as a gallery administrator intern, where he continues his curatorial work.

In his visual art practice, Nshan has exhibited in galleries and independent group shows, including self-published zines in San Francisco, Joshua Tree, L.A., and Ventura County. He actively participates at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, where he volunteers with arts and community-related events.
