Arts Collective
The VC Arts Collective is a retail space in the Pacific View Mall in Ventura which is generously provided to VCAC by mall owner-operator MaceRich Corporation. Through this partnership, the space is utilized to bring compelling arts programming to the public through curated art exhibitions and receptions, poetry readings, performances and informative seminars.
Arts for All in Our Community
The Arts Collective offers opportunities to artists and individuals with creative abilities who have experienced difficulty having their work exhibited. It has also provided an opportunity for workforce training. VCAC has received four separate grant awards from the California Arts Council for projects centered in this space.
We aim to create a dynamic space that celebrates diversity, welcomes inclusivity and utilizes a unique location. We want the Arts Collective to also be a safe space where marginalized and minority members of our community can come and be respected, recognized for who they are and what they have to offer as individuals.
