Artists in Communities Partnership Grant

This grant is currently closed

VCAC has faciliated Artists in Communities Partnership grants, which have funded projects developed between artists and community organizations, businesses and other non-arts providers. These grants help to centralize artists and their artistic processes as vehicles for community vitality, and the projects they support exemplify ways in which artists can help organizations in the non-arts sectors meet their goals.

Applicant organizations, partners, and community members must support the vision of the artist(s) to produce creative projects that are relevant and responsive to their community. Applicants must be California-based and either non-profit, or fiscally sponsored by a non-profit with a federal 501(c)(3) designation to conduct work on a not-for-profit project.

This grant is made possible by the California Arts Council.
