Local property owners Peter and Diane Goldenring recently allowed us the use of the display windows of their vacant commercial property at the corner of Victoria Avenue and Moon Drive. Installation of four public art displays have recently been completed in the widows.
Three of the windows feature art work created by students from Brekke Elementary School and Haycox Elementary School, both in Oxnard. These works of art were taught and installed by two of our Artists in the Classroom teaching artists–Eddie Campbell and Gaby Hath. The fourth window features a mural by VCAC-affiliated artist Joe Galarza which celebrates our recently inaugurated Ventura County Poet Laureate, Luzmaria Espinosa.
