Ask the Artist Fundraiser: REFLECT 2020 Showcase
Don’t miss the fun on Saturday, May 15 at 3:00 p.m. when you can ask the REFLECT 2020 street view showcase artists questions about their work, which responds to the hardships and reckonings afforded by the past year.
This online event and fundraiser offers an occasion to hear local artists Josiah Guzik, Carlos Grasso, Belen Islas and Ksenia McEuen discuss the perspective, intent, process and background of their respective works, which are currently exhibiting in our socially distanced, street view showcase located at 1985 S. Victoria Ave., Ventura, CA 93003.
REGISTRATION: Reserve your spot and register now. The registration fee to enter the online event is $15 for individuals or families. Prior to the event, registered guests will receive an email providing the information they will need to access the online event. The artists are excited to talk with you!
DONATIONS: Additional donations are encouraged and can be made now through the event on our website at vcartscouncil.org/donate. Unique works of art by Ventura County artists will be offered at various giving levels in recognition of your generosity.
Donations are essential to the work that the Ventura County Arts Council does to enrich the lives of all people in Ventura County, and now more than ever, your donations are needed to help restart our local creative economy. Vital support of the arts lifts residents with jobs, spirit and empathy. Can’t make the event?
